Customizing parameters

Most parameters defined in PATROL for DB2 UDB are activated by default. They continuously monitor key resources and warn you of potential problems. All parameters are global parameters; that is, they automatically run on all instances that are discovered. These parameters are used for all applications and computers that are monitored by PATROL for DB2 UDB.

You can customize these parameters at the local level for a specific application or computer by performing some of the following tasks. For instructions on how to perform these tasks, see the PATROL for UNIX Documentation or the PATROL for Windows Documentation.

  • Activating Help
  • Adding Parameters
  • Clearing Parameter History
  • Deleting Parameters
  • Entering the Parameter Command
  • Entering the Parameter Environment
