FCMConnEntryUtil (DB2_PARAM)

Indicates the percentage of FCM connection entries being used at the node.

Note:

  • For application class DB2EEE_PARAM, this parameter indicates the percentage of the FCM connection entries being used across all nodes.
  • This parameter is deprecated in DB2 version 9.1 and later hence will be in an offline state.

Recommendation

If the FCM connection entry utilization is consistently low, you can decrease fcm_num_connect to conserve system resources. If it is too high, increasing fcm_num_connect will help ensure that you do not run out of connection entries.

Parameter value calculation

(1 - (CE_free / fcm_num_connect)) * 100
