Indicates the percentage of buffers being used by databases to communicate internally on the node.

Description

Indicates the percentage of the buffers being used by databases to communicate internally.

Note: For application class DB2EEE_PARAM, this parameter indicates the percentage of the buffers being used by databases across all nodes to communicate internally.

Recommendation

If the FCM buffer pool utilization is consistently low, you can decrease fcm_num_buffers to conserve system resources. If it is too high, increase fcm_num_buffers to make sure you do not run out of FCM buffers.
