ApplIdleTime (DB2_AGENT)
Indicates application idling time in minutes. The STATEMENT monitor switch must be set ON through the KM to make this parameter active and collect data.
The following recovery actions are available and can be configured using Alarm 1 and Alarm 2:
- Alarm 1 recovery action: Annotate. When the application idle time is within the Alarm 1 range (for example, 1-720 minutes), the parameter will go into alarm and the ProblemDB2Agents parameter will be annotated with information about the idling application.
- Alarm 2 recovery action: Annotate and Force Application. When the application idle time is within the Alarm 2 range (for example, 721-1440 minutess), the parameter will go into alarm, the KM will attempt to force the idling application, and the ProblemDB2Agents parameter will be annotated with information about the idling application that will be forced off.
