ConfigUpdates (DB2UDB_COLLECTORS)
The ConfigUpdates parameter checks for changes to the PATROL Configuration Variables. When a change is detected, this parameter creates an annotation that contains the name of the configuration variable changed and how it changed.
Before a variable change can take effect, the following events must occur:
- Discovery or the appropriate parameters complete the next cycle.
- ConfigUpdate parameter runs and discovers the new configuration variable.
- Discovery or the appropriate parameter completes another cycle after ConfigUpdate discovers the new variable.
- If applicable, the appropriate collector parameter updates the effected consumer parameters.
