AveNumPgsReadPerAsyncReq (DB2UDB_BUFFERPOOL)

Indicates the average number of data pages that have been read by asynchronous read requests at the buffer pool level. This parameter is helpful in determining how well database data is clustered on the disk.  For example, a low average indicates poor data clustering and that a REORG may be necessary. 

The BUFFERPOOL DB2 Monitor Switch must be set ON to make this parameter active and collect data.

To reset this parameter's value, set monitor switch to OFF, and then set monitor switch to ON to begin monitoring this parameter again. This will reset the counters for all the parameters that are being controlled by the monitor switch.
