AveDirReadTime (DB2UDB_BUFFERPOOL)

Indicates the average amount of time (in milliseconds) required to read a sector of data from disk at the database or bufferpool level. This parameter is normally used to determine the presence of a possible I/O conflict.

The BUFFERPOOL DB2 Monitor Switch must be set ON to make this parameter active and collect data.

To reset this parameter's value, set monitor switch to OFF, and then set monitor switch to ON to begin monitoring this parameter again. This will reset the counters for all the parameters that are being controlled by the monitor switch.
