9.0.10: Service Pack 1

This section contains information about fixes and updates in this service pack, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the service pack.

Service Pack 1 provides the following enhancements:

Support for using the batch configuration method for PATROL for DB2

You can add SkipConfigureService to each EEE instance in the db2_batch_conf.conf file. If the SkipConfigureService value is set to 1, then it will not configure the service of the instance. You can use this scenario when the service of the instance is already configured and you do not need to reconfigure it.

If this pconfig variable is not inserted manually, the default value will be zero and hence the KM will try to configure service for the instance.

Support DB2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition (AESA)

BMC PATROL for DB2 now supports DB2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition.

PctTotalLogSpUsed parameter enhanced to standard parameter

In BMC PATROL for DB2 , the PctTotalLogSpUsed parameter has been enhanced to standard parameter.

Updated the ssh command

The -q option is added to the ssh command. This option suppresses the output messages/warnings.

Support for IBM DB2 version 10.5

BMC PATROL for DB2 now supports IBM DB2 version 10.5
