Installing in a DB2 UDB Enterprise Edition environment

To install to a DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Edition ((DB2 UDB EE)) environment, install the PATROL Agent software and the PATROL for DB2 UDB agent component on each DB2 server that you intend to monitor.

Install the PATROL console component and the PATROL for DB2 UDB console component on the server (or servers) that you intend to use as the monitoring console.

Warning

Note

  • To operate properly, the KM on the agent and on the console must be at the same version level.
  • For DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Server Edition (ESE), use the PATROL for DB2 UDB EE KM file to monitor your single partition instances.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
