Acknowledging the DiagLogOK alarm

Use this task to reset the state of the DiagLogOK parameter from an alarm state to OK. The alarm is triggered when configured keywords are written to the diagnostic log.

To  acknowledge the diagnostic log file alarm

Right-click the db2diag.log icon and select Acknowledge DiagLogOK Alarm.

The DiagLogOK parameter stops blinking.

Note

You can enable automatic alarm acknowledgement from the DB2_SETUP menu (or*DB2EEE_SETUP* for PATROL KM for DB2 UDB Enterprise-Extended Edition) by choosing Configuration > Configure KM Defaults > DB2 Global Settings and then selecting Enable Automatic Alarm Acknowledgement for DiagLogOK. You do not need to manually acknowledge each individual alarm; the CollDiagLog collector will reset the state of the parameter from alarm to OK.
