1.2.00 enhancements

This topic contains information about the enhancements in the BMC PATROL for Converged Infrastructure 1.2.00.

Support for monitoring the Fabric and Gateway switches

You can configure and monitor the UCS Manager Gateway

Support for monitoring the components with parameter groups

You can monitor the following parameter groups:

  • Control group parameters
  • Management group parameters
  • Ethernet group parameters
  • Port Channel group parameters

Support for monitoring the new VBlock components

This release adds support for monitoring the following components:

  • Rack Mounted Servers
  • Fans and power supplies for Chassis
  • CPU and Memory temperatures
  • Host Bus Adaptors (HBAs) for Blades
  • Network Interface Cards (NICs) for Blades
  • Fabric Interconnects
  • Virtula LANs
  • Virtual SANs

Automatically associating blade with ESX server

A blade is now automatically associated with the ESX server.

Reporting performance statistics

You can now report performance statistics for all the components of VBlock.
