Loading and unloading KMs on PATROL Console for UNIX

To load .kml files with the PATROL Console for UNIX

  1. From the PATROL console for UNIX menu bar, choose File > Load KM.
     The Load KMs dialog box displays a list of available .kml files. You can display .km files by changing the filter.
  2. Select the relevant product .kml or .km files from the $PATROL_HOME\lib\knowledge directory, and click Open.
     PATROL loads the selected KMs on all of the computers that are connected to your console.

To unload KMs with the PATROL Console for UNIX

  1. From the PATROL Main window, choose Attributes > Application Classes.
  2. In the List of Application Classes window, click the name of the application class that you want to delete.
  3. From the List of Application Classes menu bar, choose Edit > Delete.
     The application class is removed from the cache directory and your console session file. The PATROL Console removes the application class name from the List of Application Classes.
  4. Repeat #Step 2 and #Step 3 until you have deleted all of the application classes associated with the KM that you want to delete.
  5. Choose File > Save KM from the List of Application Classes menu bar to save your changes.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
