Configuring in a BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management environment

This section provides information about the monitoring profiles and the associated monitor types available in the BMC PATROL for Citrix XenServer. It also provides instructions on configuring the monitor types by using the BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration Console.

Monitoring types are referred to as application classes in the BMC PATROL environment. Multiple application classes grouped together comprise a monitoring profile.

The following table lists the monitoring profiles that you can configure by using Central Monitoring Administration. If a monitor type in the BMC PATROL for BMC PATROL for Citrix XenServer contains "No" in the "Can the monitoring profile be manually configured?" column, it means that the monitor type cannot be configured manually. All such monitoring types are automatically configured by Central Monitoring Administration.
