Selecting Interface parameter groups

The Interface parameters are divided into logical groups, you can include all or select some of the following groups:

• Basic
• Virtual Data Center
• SVI
• Extended Tunnel
• Extended Parameters

To filter groups of parameters for monitoring

1. From the PATROL Console work area, right-click Cisco Nexus Switches.
2. Select KM Commands > Administration > Filters > Parameters Monitoring.
    The Select Interface Parameter Groups dialog box is displayed.
3. From the available groups (these are not being monitored), select one or more parameter groups to be monitored.
4. Select the directional arrow
   • --> to add a groups of parameters for monitoring
   • <-- to remove a group of parameters from monitoring
5. Click Ok to move the groups according to the arrow.

6. Click Ok to save the change and close the dialog box. 

   Note

   The collector enacts changes made to the monitored groups only in the next collection cycle.
