Modifying switch settings

You can select and modify the settings of one or more switch settings simultaneously. However, to modify multiple switches, they all must have the same username, password, and port.

To modify a switch configuration

  1. From the PATROL Console work area, right-click Cisco Nexus Switches.
  2. Select KM Commands > Configuration > Cisco Nexus Switch Setup.
  3. In the Configured Cisco Nexus Switch field, select one or more switches.
  4. From the Configure Cisco Nexus Switches dialog box, select Modify, and click Enter.
  5. From the Modify Cisco Nexus Switch dialog box, edit the existing values. You must enter the password in order to modify any switch settings.

    Note

The existing port number and username are displayed, for security reasons the password is not displayed.

  6. Click Apply.
