Configuring email notification

When a parameter goes into an alarm state, you have the capability to send out email notifications to designated email IDs with detailed information about the alert. This product provides an email-based alternative form of notification, which you can set for all the parameters available in this version.

You can configure email notification for parameters by using the menu command in the PATROL Console or by using the PATROL Configuration Manager in the following way:

By default, the capability to configure email notification is enabled in this product. To disable this capability, you must change the value of the following PATROL Agent configuration variable from 1 to zero:

/PBP__P4PNetSelfMon/EmailNotification/enabled
