Configuring email notification by using the PATROL Configuration Manager
In addition to using the Configure Email Notification menu command available on the PATROL Console, you can also use the BMC PATROL Configuration Manager to configure email notification settings. You can do this either by using the PATROL Configuration Manager menu commands or by using the PATROL Configuration Manager CLI in the following way:
This is an email based alternative form of notification, where the product sends out email notifications to the designated email IDs with detailed information about the alert (when a parameter goes into an alarm state).
