25.3.00

Associate events with the Apache Kafka cluster device for accurate event analysis

Use the PATROL for Apache Kafka KM to map events to the Apache Kafka cluster devices instead of the PATROL Agents. This capability enhances traceability by linking cluster events to meaningful device names.
Accurate event-to-device mapping in Apache Kafka clusters minimizes false alarms, accelerates root cause analysis, and enhances monitoring efficiency. For more information, see Configuring monitoring of Apache Kafka environment.

Secure Apache Kafka communication with new SASL SSL authentication support

Use the SASL SSL authentication type to authenticate Apache Kafka clients by using a user name and password and an SSL certificate configuration. This enhancement enables encrypted communication with Apache Kafka clusters and reduces the risk of credential exposure. For more information, see Configuring monitoring of Apache Kafka environment.
