Elastic Compute Cloud (AWS_EC2)
The AWS_EC2 application class provides data about CPU, Network traffic, and Disk space used by the EC2 instance.
An AWS_EC2 application instance is created for each Amazon EC2 instance. An AWS_EC2 instance is sometimes attached to and appear under an AWS_ELB instance, or it can appear under the AWS_ACCOUNT, when not attached to an ELB instance.

The AWS_EC2 application class InfoBox contains the following information:

AMI ID | The identifier for the Amazon Machine Image. |
AMI Launch Index | The Amazon Machine Image launch index. |
Availability Zone | The name, numbers, and/or letters that identify the zone where the instance is available. |
Block Devices | The block devices used by the instance. |
EC2 Instance | The name for the EC2 instance. |
Instance Type | The EC2 instance type. |
Launch Time | The time when the instance was launched. |
Meta Entity Type | The description of its entity. For EC2 instance, it's Amazon.EC2 |
Meta FQDN | Fully Qualfied Domain Name. |
Meta Token ID | Its value is hostname:domainname. |
Monitoring | This displays if the detailed monitoring is enabled/disabled. |
Owner | The owner of the instance. |
Placement group | The logical entity that enables creating a cluster of instances by launching instances as part of a group. |
Platform | The platform for the instance. |
Private DNS Name | The private name for the Domain Name System for the instance. |
Private IP Address | The private IP address for the instance. |
Public DNS Name | The pulbic name for the Domain Name System name for the instance. |
Public IP Address | The IP address for the instance. |
Region Name | The name of the region for the EC2 instance. |
Reservation | A collection of instances started as part of the same launch request. |
Root Device Name | The root device name for the instance. |
Root Device Type | The root device type for the instance. |
Security Groups | The name of any security groups to which the instance belongs. |
State Transition Reason | This provides information in case of state trasition. |
Subnet ID | The subnet ID in which the instance is running. |
Virtualization | This describes the type of hardware virtualization. |
VPC ID | The Amazon Virtual Private Cloud identifier. |
