System requirements


This section provides release-specific information about requirements and supported resources of the PATROL for Agent High Availability product.

Information
Support for third-party products

To receive full support for a BMC product, you must have that product installed in a supported environment, as specified in the BMC product documentation. If a third-party vendor cancels support for one of its products (such as an operating system or subsystem), and that third-party product integrates or interacts with the BMC product you have licensed, you must upgrade to a supported version of that third-party product before BMC Customer Support can provide you with support for the affected BMC product. For further information, see BMC's product support policy.

Before installing the PATROL KM for Agent High Availability, verify:

The target computer meets the system requirements noted in the following table, including supported OS platforms and PATROL product versions and the account that you use to install the product has sufficient privileges.

In order to tell that this KM can be used on a certain platform, ensure that all the required KMs can be installed on the same platform. For a current list of the supported operating systems, see the release notes of the PATROL solution.

Important: PATROL for Agent High Availability Knowledge Module version 23.4.02 is the minimum required version for compatibility with PATROL Agent version 24.3.01 and later.

Note: When using a setup of both the Notification Server and the remote agent(s), the PATROL Agents across the systems must be the same. For example, all PATROL Agents installed on both the Notification Server and Remote Agents must be of version 10.0.00.

Browser

This product must be installed with the latest version of the PATROL Installation Utility unless there is a conflict resulting from specific details of the KM.
