Bandwidth Utilization (BandwidthUtilization)


This parameter provides details about the bandwidth usage of the network interface. The bandwidth utilization is the percentage of bandwidth utilized out of the total bandwidth available.


Note

If the monitored network interface is virtual, the parameter is disabled. To check the network interface type, execute the following command in the AIX command line: “/usr/bin/entstat -d <network_interface>”. If the output of the command contains the following line - Device Type: “Virtual I/O Ethernet Adapter (l-lan)”, the parameter remains disabled. Else, the parameter is enabled.
