IAKServer.XPC Admin dialog box

You can enable and disable the debugging for KVMs (kernel-based virtual machines) from PATROL Console or PATROL Central Operator Console. The debug file will be created on the PATROL Agent Machine, and will be located at /tmp/IAKXpcDebug_<xpc id>.log.

By default, debugging is disabled.

This dialog box is applicable to BMC PATROL Console only.

Configuration details

To access this dialog box, right-click the AIX Virtualization node, right-click KM Commands > Debug abd Disgnostics > IAK XPC Administration. This dialog box contains the following items:

Modify log level settings for IAKSERVER.XPC:

  • INFORM
  • WARNING
  • ERROR
  • No Logging

The default option, No Logging disables debugging.

Apply

Click to apply your changes

Cancel

Click to close the dialog box
