Enhancements in version 1.1.00
Version 1.1.00 of the BMC PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management product has been enhanced with the following new features and changes:
Connecting with multiple Real User Analyzers
BMC PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management can now connect to and retrieve data from multiple Real User Analyzers. A new dialog box was introduced to the beginning of the product configuration process for managing (adding, editing, or deleting) multiple Real User Analyzers. In addition, to differentiate between the various defined Real User Analyzers, the definitions of a Real User Analyzer now include the port number for the connection.
Setting Java heap memory
You can now control the size of Java heap memory used by BMC PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management. The Set Java Settings dialog box now contains fields for setting the initial size of Java heap memory and the maximum size of Java heap memory (in addition to the field for setting the path to the Java home directory).
Transfer of data to BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management
BMC PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management is now fully integrated with BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management. You can perform all configuration of data collection through the BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration console. All data from the monitoring of BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring is then transferred from the PATROL components to BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management.
For more information about configuring and monitoring real user web performance data through BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management, see the BMC ProactiveNet End User Experience Management Monitoring online documentation.
Support for integration with BMC Atrium CMDB
BMC PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management now obtains metadata regarding the association of Watchpoints with BMC Atrium CMDB configuration items (CIs), as defined through the BMC Application Performance Management Console. This metadata is transferred to BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management, enabling the propagation of Watchpoint events to BMC Atrium CMDB and the display of health for Watchpoint-associated CIs through the BMC Application Performance Management Console.
