Upgrading

If you are upgrading BMC PATROL KM for End User Experience Management from version 1.0 to version, you must perform the following post-installation tasks:

  1. Unload the old KMs that begin with EUEM_ in version 1.0 of BMC PATROL KM for End User Experience Management and load the new .kml file (containing the new KMs) provided in version 1.1.
     All new product KMs begin with APM_EUEM_.

  2. Although all configured Real User Analyzer connections and all selections of Watchpoints and Geo Locations are retained in the new product version, you must resubmit the configurations, by performing the following steps:
    1. For each Real User Analyzer connection defined in the Manage-Real-User-Analyzers-dialog-box, use the Edit option to enter the Add/Edit Real User Analyzer dialog box.

    2. Enter a valid password for the connection and click Next.
    3. In the Add/Remove Geo Locations to Monitor dialog box, click Done.
  3. Restart the PATROL Agent.
