Integrating

PATROL Knowledge Module for End User Experience Management (PATROL KM for EUEM) fully integrates with BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management, and all its applications classes and parameters are displayed in BMC ProactiveNet.

You can use the BMC PATROL adapter to integrate Knowledge Modules (KMs) with BMC ProactiveNet. BMC PATROL Agents load information from Knowledge Modules (KMs), gather statistics, and send data and events to the BMC ProactiveNet Agent. The BMC ProactiveNet Agent then generates events whenever it senses a problem evolving in the monitored infrastructure. The BMC PATROL adapter facilitates the retrieval of performance data from the application classes of BMC PATROL solutions into BMC ProactiveNet.

You can add an adapter for BMC PATROL using either of the following methods:

  • Automated workflow (recommended)
  • Manually
