Installation fails with 'unable to connect to remote host' error (UNIX)
The installation fails with the following error message:
http://localhost:50001/ 425 HTTP Error Unable to connect with remote host
The installation utility is unable to connect to the primary IP address of the computer on which the products are being installed. The installation utility uses the primary IP address to connect to the Perl HTTP server that it needs to perform a product installation.
To fix the problem
Launch the installation utility by specifying the following command:
./setup.sh -host_overridehostname
This option allows you to specify the host name or IP address that you want the installation utility to use on computers with multiple IP addresses. For more details on the -host_override command line option, see Running-the-installation-utility-on-UNIX-computers-from-a-command-line.
