Event Buffering
If the PATROL Agent loses the connection to BMC ProactiveNet Event Manager, it will continue buffering events in its cache. After the connection is reestablished, the PATROL Agent will send the cached events to the BMC ProactiveNet Event Manager.
The time period for which the events are cached is configured using a pconfig variable:
/AgentSetup/bemBufferKeepWait
Refer the following table to set the event buffering duration:
