Scheduling an OS Process
The following figure shows the flow for executing a PSL process.

If the process that is scheduled is an OS process, it will be executed on the OS and the process information will be passed to the IO handler routine.
Whenever data is returned the IO handler will take the appropriate action to return the data to the caller.
