Setting up application discovery

This section describes the decision-making and the tasks necessary to create PATROL KM application discovery scripts that enable the PATROL Agent to detect monitored applications. As part of the application class definition, discovery scripts are executed by the PATROL Agent to detect any application instances on the monitored machine and create them.
