Support for Hebrew characters in monitor policies with the PATROL Agent on an English‑locale OS

BMC Helix Operations Management supports Hebrew characters in Knowledge Modules for monitor policies when the PATROL Agent runs on an English-locale operating system. With this enhancement, you can configure monitoring rules that include Hebrew text for log searches, web content checks, and SQL queries. This allows accurate monitoring of logs and queries containing Hebrew characters.

Support for additional platform

The PATROL Agent for BMC Helix Operations Management includes support for the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 16.x, x86_64 platform. For more information, see System requirements.

Stream only new entities after an Agent restart

After the PATROL Agent restarts, the Agent streams only the newly discovered entities to BMC Helix Operations Management instead of streaming all entities, including the previously discovered entities, again. This enhancement reduces duplicate entity messages and helps prevent message backlogs in environments with a large number of entities.
