Disabling SNMP trap support for PATROL events

PATROL provides the following methods for preventing the agent from sending SNMP trap information based on PATROL Events:

  • Delete all recipients listed in the SNMP Managers' list variable, psV1m_list.
  • Set the /AgentSetup/pemSnmpSupport variable to no.
  • Set the /snmp/support variable to no.

Note

In the PATROL Agent, you can disable SNMP trap sending based on PATROL Events without affecting other SNMP functionality.
