Controlling the configuration of PATROL Agent

You can use the /AgentSetup/integration/denyCfg variable to control the configuration of PATROL Agent through BMC Helix Operations Management console. The value can be set to true/false.

  • True indicates that the respective PATROL Agent cannot be configured from the BMC Helix Operations Management console.
  • False indicates that the respective PATROL Agent can be configured from the BMC Helix Operations Management console. 

 

Note

You can configure the PATROL Agent using the BMC Helix Operations Management console or PATROL Configuration Manager /PATROL Central Operator console. You cannot use both the options for the same PATROL Agent simultaneously.
