20.08 enhancements
This section covers new features, enhancements, and changes in PATROL Agent.
Forward proxy support
You can now configure PATROL Agents to communicate with BMC Helix Operations Management through a forward proxy server to create an additional layer of security. For more information, see Configuring-PATROL-Agents-to-support-a-forward-proxy-server.
Suppress PATROL Agent events
You can now configure a PATROL Agent to manage the monitoring events communication to BMC Helix Operations Management using the HelixMonitorEvents configuration variable. By default, PATROL Agents do not send monitoring events to BMC Helix Operations Management. For more information, see Integration-variables.
Enhanced encryption support
PATROL Agents now use the Advanced Encryption Standard with Galois/Counter Mode (AES-GCM) encryption to decrypt the BMC Helix Operations Management policy passwords.
