Troubleshooting


The following table lists the error messages you might encounter while running the utility.

Error message

Explanation

No Patrol Agent found or cannot resolve host name

The PATROL Agent on the host computer is not running or the utility could not resolve the IP address or host name from the source PATROL Agent.

VC/ESX details unavailable

The VMware Virtual Center details are not available or the login credentials entered are incorrect.

PATROL Agent Security Mismatch

The security level of the PATROL Agent where the utility is running is different from the security level of the host.

Note: The machine on which the PATROL Agent License utility is installed must have same or higher PATROL Agent security level than the host.
