Uninstalling BMC Remedy ITSM Suite patch component
To uninstall the BMC Remedy AR System patch component follow one of the method:
Restore the database
If you have taken backup of the BMC Remedy AR system database before installing the BMC Intelligent Ticketing 2.0 patch, to uninstall the patch, restore the database you had before installation.
Manual uninstallation
If you have taken manual backup of modified objects, you need to manually uninstall the patch components.
To manually uninstall the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite patch component
- Login to BMC Remedy Developer Studio as an Administrator.
- Open BMC Remedy Developer Studio in Base Development Mode.
- Import the backed up files in Replace mode.
- Verify that all the modified workflows and forms are imported successfully.
- Delete the new fields created as part of the patch.
- Delete the new workflows created as part of the patch.
- Delete the records that are imported as a part of the patch after arx import.
