Enabling notifications in Microsoft Teams

BMC Helix Service Monitoring integrates with Microsoft Teams to enable operators to use the BMC Helix application in Microsoft Teams. This provides real-time information about impacted services and situations.

A tenant administrator, who is also a Microsoft Teams administrator, installs and configures the application for your organization. Operators can then run commands in the application and get notified about the status and overall health of the services in the form of messages and cards.

The following table lists the activities that you can perform to enable using Microsoft Teams to get real-time information about the impacted services and situations.
