Monitoring and investigating policy-based situations


A situation comprises events associated with a host that have been aggregated based on when they occurred, their message content, and their relationships to the service or application topology. There are two types of situations: Policy-based and ML-based situations. To view a policy-based situation, you must create event correlation policies in BMC Helix Operations Management.
