Integrating

As a tenant administrator, you can use BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations  to integrate with third-party solutions so that you can get event, metric, CI, and topology data from these solutions. You can view this data in BMC Helix Dashboards,BMC Helix Operations Management, and BMC Helix Service Monitoring.

You integrate third-party solutions by using connectors. A Connector is a container based on Fluent-d that can host multiple integrations. It facilitates data collection and consumption from the integrated solutions.

Third-party integration usecase scenario

Global Services is a company that uses Dynatrace to monitor its IT infrastructure. Global Services now wants to leverage the BMC Helix Platform capabilities. Global Services asks Tina, a tenant administrator to get the integration up and running.

Tina uses BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations to integrate Dynatrace with BMC Helix Platform. With this integration, Tina can use the BMC Helix Operations Management and BMC Helix Service Monitoring consoles to view Dynatrace data. Tina can leverage these Helix solutions to visualize and analyze data and gain meaningful insights into the Global Services IT infrastructure.
