Integrating


BMC Helix Operations Management is a part of the BMC Helix IT Operations Management (ITOM) solution and is a SaaS and an on-premises containerized solution on BMC Helix Portal. The solution offers broad capabilities across monitoring and event management with a cloud-native, containerized, microservices architecture that enables fast deployment and upgrades.

BMC Helix Operations Management integrates with the following products for event and incident management:

  • BMC Helix Intelligent Automation
    Blackout policies are automatically created in BMC Helix Operations Management after a change request is created in BMC Helix IT Service Management.
  • BMC Helix iPaaS
    Use pre-built Jitterbit Harmony integration templates for several third-party products.
  • BMC Helix IT Service Management
    BMC Helix Operations Management integrates with BMC Helix IT Service Management in the following ways:
    • By using BMC Helix Intelligent Automation. With this integration, you can also use other automation features provided by BMC Helix Intelligent Automation, such as automatic creation of blackout policies. For more information, see the BMC Helix Intelligent Automation documentation.

    • By using the Integration Service

Webhook integration is not supported in BMC Helix Operations Management. For any outbound integrations, we recommend that you use BMC Helix Intelligent Automation.
