Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions about BMC Helix Operations Management.
No. You can only delete blueprints that are not associated with any services. However, you can remove the blueprint from the associated services and delete it.
You can publish any group as a service from BMC Helix Operations Management provided you have selected a valid entity selection criteria. You can view the published groups as services in the BMC Discovery and BMC Helix AIOps consoles.
The service (group) is deleted only from the BMC Discovery and BMC Helix AIOps consoles and not from the BMC Helix Operations Management console.
You can re-publish a group as service that was deleted from the BMC Discovery console. Do the following:

You can use blackout policies to black out the events during maintenance windows. For more information, see Managing-maintenance-windows.
In the alarm policy post-trigger actions, if you have specified that the alarm must not be closed, such alarm events are automatically closed if they are not updated for more than 30 days. All the closed events older than 4 days are automatically deleted from the system. For more information, see Understanding event states. However, if you delete such a policy or the PATROL Agent associated with such an alarm is deleted, the alarm is automatically closed.
You can detect anomalies in the monitored data by using any of the following methods:
