BMC Helix Network Management 25.4.01 Release Notes

BMC Helix Network Management release 25.4.01 is now available with the following changes:

Feature Updates:

  • [DRR69-928] - Added toggle in device type administration to enable/disable scan open port 

  • [DRR69-939] - Path Insight can now use user partitions 

  • [DRR69-940] - Users can now assign a user partition to a custom dashboard 

  • [DRR69-942] - Custom maps now allow site-to-site connections 

  • [DRR69-955] - SSL admin tool can now generate a SAN CSR for SSL certificates 

  • [DRR69-1088] - Added new option to Threshold History report to filter suppressed alarm incidents (option name: Suppressed Alarms Incident Only) 

  • [DRR69-1092] - Created new incident macro for Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) 

  • [DRR69-1104] - Added GUID and UID to Device List API 

  • [DRR69-1106] - Added GUID and UID to Device Search API 

  • [DRR69-1108] - Added GUID to Time Series Metrics API

Issues Resolved:

  • [DRR69-649] - NetFlow v10 traffic is not showing in the UI.

  • [DRR69-962] - Devices are unable to get added as loggers after sending traps

  • [DRR69-985] - Device addition done through CSV import when the service engine in the CSV file is part of a service engine group fails to assign the device to the service engine

  • [DRR69-1019] - On device addition type lookup fails due to incomplete SNMPv3 auth object

  • [DRR69-1020] - Users should not be able to manually assign Netreo devices types

  • [DRR69-1026] - History log report still shows 'soft/hard' states

  • [DRR69-1028] - Getting "Could not resolve host: connector-ws.netreo.cloud Environment:" in service engine with proxy

  • [DRR69-1031] - Basic interface filters do not indicate when they are active

  • [DRR69-1066] - Clicking on view PDF for Top Talkers report is showing 504 error code

  • [DRR69-1067] - Service engine group shows member count 0 for service engines that have associated devices

  • [DRR69-1095] - Change QoS indexing to name over SNMP index

  • [DRR69-1135] - Notification log for failed alerting action using the active response webhook is not having the output in incident detail

  • [DRR69-1253] - Internal server error occurs while deleting comments from service checks or host details

  • [DRR69-1268] - Path Insight Dashboard - Internal server error occurred on Exceeded Thresholds page
