Deploy Additional Service Engines (Netreo SaaS)

Only users with the SuperAdmin access level may deploy and manage service engines.

Procedure

To deploy additional service engines for your SaaS deployment beyond the initial service engine, follow the steps below.

1. Using a supported web browser, go to https://www.netreo.cloud.
2. Log in to your Netreo SaaS tenant as a user with the SuperAdmin access level.
3. Go to the main menu and select Administration > System > Service Engines to open the Service Engine Administration page.
4. In the Stand Alone Service Engines section, select the plus button (+).
   
5. You are then taken to the Create Service Engine Page.
   1. Enter a name to identify your service engine and select Save.
   2. From the pop-up dialog that appears, select the download link for the service engine virtual appliance type you would like to deploy.
      
   3. Once your download has completed, select Okay.
6. You will now see the Service Engine Administration page.
   1. Copy the API key provided in the message at the top of the page. You will not see this API key again. Be sure to copy it before leaving this page.
      
   2. Once you’ve copied your API key, you may now navigate away from the Service Engine Administration page or log out, if desired.
7. If you intend to monitor devices within your own network environment, you must now deploy the downloaded service engine virtual appliance in your network environment in accordance with the instructions in Initial SaaS Service Engine Deployment above.
