Manually Rebalance a Service Engine Group

Only users with the SuperAdmin access level may deploy and manage service engines.

See Service Engines to learn about service engines and their use.

Netreo's load-balancing algorithm attempts to distribute the devices assigned to that service engine group evenly across its members. This may be done manually using the steps below.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Netreo as a user with the SuperAdmin access level.
  2. Go to the main menu and select Administration > System > Service Engines to open the Service Engine Administration page.
  3. In the Service Engine Groups panel locate the service engine group that you would like to rebalance and select its rebalance icon in the ACTIONS column.
  4. In the dialog that appears select OK.

 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
