Turn On Automatic Maintenance Updates for Netreo

Netreo can be configured to automatically keep itself updated to the latest maintenance release for its minor release version.

To turn on automatic updates follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to Netreo as a user with the SuperAdmin access level.
  2. Go to the main menu and select Administration > System > Updates to open the Netreo Update page.
  3. Set the AUTOMATIC UPDATES switch to ON.

  4. You're done.

Netreo will now check for new maintenance releases early Sunday morning every week and automatically update itself whenever one is available.

Additionally, if any other Netreo appliances are connected to this Netreo appliance (such as service engines, high-availability cluster members or Netreo Overview clients) the update will automatically propagate to those Netreo appliances, as well. Ensuring that all connected Netreo appliances receive the latest fixes and updates.

Keep in mind that major version upgrades and minor version releases still require manual action by a user with SuperAdmin privileges.
