Create a Site

To create a new site follow the steps below.

1. Log in to Netreo as a user with the SuperAdmin access level.
2. Go the the main menu and select Administration > Grouping > Site to open the Site Administration page.
3. Select Add a Site.
4. In the SITE NAME field enter a name for your new site.
5. If you wish your site to show up on the Geographic Map widget, either:
   • Enter the latitude and longitude of the site into the appropriate fields and switch OVERRIDE AUTOMATIC GEOCODING to ON.
   • Or, enter the street address of your site into the appropriate fields and make sure that OVERRIDE AUTOMATIC GEOCODING is switched to OFF.
6. If you wish manually set the time zone for your site, switch AUTOMATICALLY SET TIMEZONE to OFF and select the desired time zone in the TIMEZONE SETTING field.
7. (Optional) Select a device template  to associate with this site.
   • You can add or change the device template associated with this site later, if desired.
8. (Optional) Select an uploaded custom map to associate with this site.
   • You can add or change the custom map associated with this site later, if desired.
9. (Optional) Select a custom dashboard  to associate with this site.
   • You can add or change the custom dashboard associated with this site later, if desired.
10. (Optional) Select other sites to connect to this site on the Geographic Map widget.
    • You can add or change the sites connected to this site later, if desired.
11. (Optional) If this site uses IP Telephony, switch on the IPTEL options to allow Netreo to collect IP Telephony data and show related statistics on the Site Dashboard.
12. Select Save Site.

Modify a Site

Once a site is created, you may then:

• assign devices to the site
• add or change the subnets monitored
• assign a device template to the site
• assign a custom dashboard to the site
• view the Site Dashboard
• edit the site
• delete the site

by selecting the appropriate icon in its row in the table
