Add a Host Alert Contact to a Device Template

To add a host alert contact to a device template follow the steps below,

  1. Log in to Netreo as a user with the SuperAdmin access level.
  2. Go to the main menu and select Administration > Templates to open the Device Templates Administration page.
  3. Locate the device template to which you wish to add a host alert contact in the device templates table and select its edit icon in the ACTIONS column.
  4. In the Template Components panel locate the Host Alert table.
  5. Select the add contact button (+ symbol).
  6. In the CONTACT NAME field select the action group that you wish to use from the pull-down selector.
  7. In the ESCALATION TIER field select the escalation tier appropriate for this contact.
  8. Select Add Contact.
  9. Now follow the instructions in Re-Apply Device Templates After Editing.

 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
