Browser compatibility

The user interface in BMC Helix Network Management is designed for most modern web browsers, but utilizes some newer features of those browsers to deliver a richer user experience. As a result, some customers using older-version browsers may experience some issues when using BMC Helix Network Management.

BMC Helix Network Management is designed to work seamlessly in all up-to-date browsers. Newer versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Chrome should work perfectly.

Internet Explorer versions prior to IE10 are known to not function properly with BMC Helix Network Management due to limited compatibility with HTML5 and CSS3 elements. This is a limitation of these browsers and cannot be fixed. We recommend moving to the current version of Internet Explorer or using an alternative browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
