Deleting algorithms

You can delete the custom and cloned algorithms from the BMC Helix Edge environment. Use caution before deleting the algorithm as you cannot restore it once deleted from the system.  

Note:

You can not delete pre-built (BMC-shipped) algorithms from the system.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that you have not attached the algorithm to any configurations. 

To delete algorithms

  1. On the BMC Helix Edge page, navigate to Intelligence and click Machine Learning.
  2. Click Manage Algorithm.
    The table displays the list of algorithms with corresponding columns.
  3. Select one or more non-prebuilt algorithms to delete from the list and click Delete.
    The system displays a prompt to confirm the delete action.
  4. Click Delete.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
