Accessing the Manage Algorithms page

The Manage Algorithms page lets you view both BMC Helix Edge-shipped and client-created custom algorithms to view their key characteristics, usage, and operational status. This facilitates efficient management and selection of appropriate algorithms for various tasks within the BMC Helix Edge environment.

To access the Manage Algorithms page

  1. In BMC Helix Edge, navigate to Intelligence > Machine Learning.
  2. In the Machine Learning page, click Manage Algorithms.
    The system displays the following page with algorithms:

The following table displays algorithms with corresponding column headings:

Column heading

Description

Name

Lists the algorithm names. This field offers a clickable link to view more details or edit the algorithm.

Type

Lists the algorithm types and categorizes the algorithm based on their purpose. 

Description

Describes algorithms and their intended use.

Configured models

Displays the number of models configured using the algorithm and indicates how many algorithm instances are deployed.

State

Shows the algorithms' current status, such as Enabled or Disabled controls, to indicate whether the algorithm is active and available. The image-2025-1-29_15-23-49.pngicon next to Enabled refers to an informational message.  

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
