Viewing users


Administrators view users to review their user names.

Information

Administrators do not have the direct capability to add, edit, or delete users. Administrators add users from Active Directory or BMC Helix Portal. 

To view the list of users

On the BMC Helix Edge page, select Administration > User Management.
BMC Helix Edge displays the following list:

Field name

Description

User Name

This field represents the unique name associated with a user's account.

Login ID

This field is another identifier for logging in, such as the user name. Depending on the system's configuration, it can sometimes be the same as the user name or a different identifier.

Email

This field represents the user's email address, often used for communication and account recovery.

Activation Date

This field indicates the data of the user's account activation. It helps track the account's history.

Roles

This field lists the roles or permissions assigned to the user in BMC Helix Edge.

Actions

This field displays the user's actions. Administrators with necessary privileges can edit, add, or delete roles.
